NAMBU is a 6-operator FM synthesizer that supports AUv3 plug-ins. It's a semi-modular FM synthesizer that incorporates modern ideas, not designed to recreate the sound and workflow of a vintage FM synthesizer.

This product is compatible with iPad, iPhone, and Apple Silicon Mac. Please note that it is not compatible with Macs featuring Intel CPUs.

Audio Unit Extensions (AUv3)

This product exclusively supports the AUv3 plug-in format, enabling its use in host applications that are AUv3 compatible.

Notes

It's important to be aware that depending on parameter settings, loud sounds may be produced.
This product can be installed on iPad, iPhone, and Mac computers with Apple silicon (M1, M2). While it is an app designed for iPad and iPhone, it can run on Apple silicon-based Mac computers but is not compatible with those running on Intel CPUs.
Support is only provided for the AUv3 plug-in format. No other plug-in formats are accommodated. It can be effectively used with AUv3-friendly DAWs.
NAMBU is focused on creating its own unique sound rather than replicating acoustic instruments or other classic synthesizers. The product does not support MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression).
This synthesizer does not allow importing presets from vintage FM synthesizers. It's worth noting that NAMBU may have higher CPU usage compared to other iceGear Apps.
While self-feedback of the FM operator is possible, configuring a feedback signal path through the matrix mixer is not supported.
The preset collection primarily consists of basics to assist in sound creation; extensive preset options are not offered. Enjoy the creative process of sound design!
